Excel Appoints New Sales Engineer

Speciality fibre manufacturer and supplier of building solutions, Excel Industries of Ebbw Vale, has appointed Bruce Hunter to the position of sales engineer within its Fibre Technology division.  Bruce is responsible for North of England sales of the company’s fibre products and fibre delivery systems into the quarry and road making markets.  In addition, he is responsible for sales of Excel’s industrial fibre throughout mainland UK.   Bruce’s remit also includes the identification and development of additional industrial markets for the company’s range of speciality fibre products.

Bruce joins Excel from Hyloc Limited in Runcorn, Cheshire, where he was export sales manager. This followed three years as general manager of Marina Ropes in Heywood, Lancashire.

Excel Fibre Technology, a division of Excel Industries Limited of Ebbw Vale, is the UK’s leading manufacturer of speciality fibres and fibre delivery systems.  In addition to Viscocel SMA fibre and pellets for road making and related applications, Excel manufactures a range of products for use in varied industrial applications as well as the building and construction industry.
